Víkingur 2022 Kit Design
The first time the club broke away from standard red and black stripes to show that a Víkingur kit doesn't always have to look the same.
The main stripes feature a fade effect inspired by speed and motion blur, while the collar and cuff details pay homage to the iconic 1982 European Cup shirt worn against Real Sociedad. On the back of the neck, a custom typeface displays „Suðurgötufélagið“—the club’s nickname from its earliest days after being founded in 1908.
To top it all off, the team went on to complete the double in this kit, lifting both the Icelandic League and Cup titles.
